Ep. 58: Interview with Malcolm Guite (Part 1)

Malcolm Guite is a man of many facets. He is a poet with a deep appreciation for the classical form and higher realms of language. Equal parts songwriter, author, ordained priest in the Church of England, avid reader and academic, Malcolm brings these beautiful colors into one of the most fascinating conversations I have had on my podcast.

Malcolm and I cover a wide range of topics with one of the highlights of this first installment being a reading he does from The Fellowship of the Ring. The longer I spoke to Malcolm, the more I saw in him the affability of Bilbo Baggins, and the wisdom and percipience of Gandalf. I hope all who listen will enjoy this chat as much as I did.

--PART 2 will be released on Monday February 26, 2024 on all podcast platforms (and on YouTube a week or so later). Be sure to follow or subscribe wherever you catch podcasts to get notification when it's released.

Journey to the Stage with Bryan Frazier is an indie and self-financed podcast that was created to tell the stories of great artists, legends, and indie artists. A no-cost and easy way to support my work is to share an episode with friends and on your socials, leave a kind rating or review, and to follow, like and subscribe wherever you listen or watch. And for all who do those very kind things, I am so thankful.
